LA Weekly’s People 2012 issue has a range of Angeleno’s that are making splashes in various industries but also carving out their own niches within those.  We wanted to throw some spotlight at Luis J. Rodriguez who recently published a follow-up memoir to Always Running.  In the first memoir he recalls his violent life in East L.A., drug experiences, sexual conquests and more and then how art and activism saved his life.  In the follow-up he focuses on the aspect of trying to completely separate from that life.  The new memoir is called It Calls You Back.  Read his quick Q&A here to get a better idea of this guy and make sure to check out he and others in new LA Weekly People 2012 issue here.
