Food Wars? Should Americans Chefs Be Able to Cook Chinese Food? Francis Lam vs Eddie Huang

As the fusion foods become more apparent and we see people of various ethnicities making foods outside of their culture it seems lines are being drawn.  There are some that feel that an American chef should not be able to dictate to the consumer what Chinese food is for example. Others that feel that some may stray from original recipes because of various factors (like distance) and that should be embraced.  Check out the quick writeup LA Weekly did so you can see what the Lam and Huang had to say about it and where they said these things.
